Meet the Host
Norman Livingston Kerr, a luminary in violence reduction, has dedicated his career to crafting and implementing strategies aimed at combatting community violence. His journey spans 30 years, during which he has played pivotal roles in pioneering interventions like the Spergel Model and Cure Violence. With a Master’s in Clinical Social Work and a rich history of leadership, including serving as the inaugural Director of the Office of Violence Reduction in Chicago, Kerr founded TCS in 2021 to continue his mission of changing trajectories in communities worldwide.
